It’s a unique and bizarre relationship that animates amazement and wonder at every turn.
You see; my pendulum really works and it came to me by a strange twist of events all the way from India… Thanking my gorgeous friend Kate Reardon for listening to the intuitive message she received in the enchanting, Indian, crystal shop she encountered, and was mysteriously guided to the bewitching creation I now own and frequently use…
It began to spin the minute I held it and gazed intently, with a little skepticism at its’ crystalline form, an adorable clear quartz combined with amethyst whirling merrily around in a clockwise direction as if to say ‘hello. I belong to you!’ I was immediately mesmerized.

Pendulum: Confessions
I’ve had pendulums before. They annoyed me. So I turned them into hanging decorations around my bungalow. It wasn’t really the pendulums that frustrated me but the lack of connection I had with them when it came to asking questions. They just seemed to do what they wanted, rather than being of any particular use. So I left the ‘pendulum’ magic to the experts… (There are a few in Koh Samui) and continued with what I knew and what served me.
I realize that a bad craftsman blames his tools. I was really trying to manipulate my pendulum to give me the answers I wanted rather than the obvious, clearing your mind, asking for a yes and a no answer and then allowing the flow of the universe to take control and move them accordingly. I guess I just wasn’t ready. Just like any relationship, these things only come your way when you are in the right place and almost always when you are not looking for them and most definitely in unexpected ways. My pendulum has style. It’s around to stay. No bungalow decorations for this one.

I then work with source to re-balance and reintroduce positive, healing energy!!!

Pendulum: What a Gift
My favourite expression of sessions involving my pendulum came from an Indonesian lady in Bali. The Indonesians rarely visit any ‘healers’ outside their own community so it was a real privilege to be asked to work on her. After the session, she looked at me with large eyes and said.. ‘Abi, you take bad stuff off and put good stuff in’. It was the most simple and yet accurate analogy of what takes place, minus all analyzing and logical reasoning.
So I really recommend investing in a pendulum and learning to use it. Imagine having a guide to what food causes discomfort to your body? What remedies and lotions are the most effective and what days are good for travel, to speak to your boss, start a new project? How wonderful would that be?

That is the most gorgeous pendulum I’ve ever seen. Is there a place to buy one similar to that? I have a very basic pendulum, I’d love to find one like that.
